Remember your goals. Stay focused. This will push you to stay motivated during your work outs. Your goals will be your inspiration.
Always Warm Up and Cool Down. It is very important that you get at least 5-10 minutes of a warm up and cool down in with your work out because it could help with injury prevention. Warming up the body allows for a gradual increase in heart rate, body temperature, and respiratory rate before your exercises. It will get your muscles ready for any intensity you plan on performing. The cool down will gradually lower the body’s heart rate, body temperature, and respiratory rate to rest.
Stretch. Stretching is something I think is important to help improve fitness performance as well as actions in your daily routine. Stretching may help prevent injuries. There are different types of stretches that can be performed. These can be performed either after a warm up, or after a cool down. At least 10 minutes for stretching will be beneficial.
Frequency: You should work out (if not Everyday) at least 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes each day. These 30 minutes can also be broken down into 10 minute increments throughout the day - This is good for people with busy schedules.
Many of the exercises I have provided can be done at home, as well as in gyms. If you don’t have any gym equipment in your house, check out these household items you can use to exercise with. Home Item Exercises.
