Hey there! My name is Jenna, and I am an ACSM and ACE certified personal trainer! I offer virtual group classes and on-demand workouts, specifically made for busy women wishing to live a healthy and active lifestyle! I leverage my background in strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, and pre/post-natal training to empower women to reach their greatest potential.
I am the proud momma of my son, the owner of my own online fitness business, and I keep it together on the home front while my husband works full time from home too. Let’s just say I know a thing or two about juggling multiple hats and finding it hard to fit everything into a day.
I saw a need for someone focused on helping my fellow busy working ladies and moms, because these are my people! That is why I created my on-demand 30-minute workout series Body in Motion! Time is a precious thing, so these workouts are designed to optimize your half hour throughout the week, to strengthen and tone your entire body. I also offer a live one-hour class every Wednesday morning at 7am EST that is designed to get your heart rate up in a fun and engaging class.
My love for being active started when I was young, playing on sports teams [volleyball, track, tennis], running around with my friends outside, and exploring the woods by my house. During undergrad at Highpoint University, I taught two group exercise classes (Fab Abs and Bikini Boot Camp) which were a huge success on campus. This is what really sparked my desire to break into the fitness industry!
On weekends, I can usually be found running, hiking, biking, or going on crazy adventures. My playlists are a mix of a little bit of everything (Pop, R&B, Jazz, Indie Rock, Folk). I am a huge Fit Foodie. My mom is a chef and taught me everything she knows, so I try new recipes out whenever I can.
My Passion
Empowering women to feel great about themselves both inside and out. I believe that fitness is not a number on a scale, but how strong you feel. As women we often put many other things before our own wellbeing, but I believe that our health needs to come first. As a mom, wife, and business owner, I know that I can perform better in those roles when I dedicate the time needed for myself. Some days it’s a quick walk with Stew in a stroller, other days it’s an hour-long weight session, and some days it’s that much needed piece of chocolate at the end of a day. Wellbeing is all about finding balance, consistency and listening to your body. I am here to help each step of the way!
My Purpose
My purpose is to help educate and motivate women to pursue healthy and active lifestyles. I share fun facts, experiences, delicious recipes, and exercises that can be done anywhere, to give you the push you need to successfully begin and/or maintain the lifestyle you desire.
The benefits of exercise, physical activity, and healthy eating is living longer and happier lives. Creating healthy habits now, can increase your quality of life by, lowering blood pressure, heart rate, bad cholesterol, and any risks you may have of cardiovascular disease and metabolic diseases.
I started this blog to inspire women who wish to live happy and healthy lifestyles. Whether you are already living one, or thinking about making a change, my dream is that this blog will help motivate you to reach your goals. I understand that everyone’s body is different. I have some clients who haven’t worked out a day in their lives, some clients who are about to have a baby, and some clients who are in the best shape of their lives. My secret is encouraging clients to modify movements to optimize the workout for THEIR body.
